Fabio Orecchini lives in Rome, where he was born in 1981. He graduated in Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of La Sapienza University in Rome.
He collaborated with the Doctors Without Borders Association as part of the “Mission Italy” project, as an anthropologist in the field.
This experience allowed him to draw up a study presented to the I.I.M.S. (Istituto Italiano di Medicina Sociale), on the culturally informed body forms of the sufferings and diseases found in the communities of illegal immigrants residing in the territory of the XX Municipality of Rome.
Graduated in a professional Sommelier in 2004, he worked at the A.I.S. (Associazione Italiana Sommelier) of Rome.
Some of his poems are present in anthologies (Voci dell’anima, Ed. Il Leccio, 2005, L’Anima in versi, Agar Edizioni, 2005, Poesie d’amore per il Terzo Millennio, Bastoni Editrice Italiana, 2005) and in literary magazines Prospektiva, Voce Romana.
